The Air That I Breathe - Maroon 5（和訳）
とても好きな曲を思い出したので、また和訳してみました。
Maroon 5 は世界的な人気ロックバンドですが、その人気の秘密は世界中の誰にでも聞き取りやすい、シンプルな言葉を使った歌詞とメロディにもあるような気がします。
この「The Air That I Breathe」もそんな曲の一つです。私は聴くたびに、毎回ちょっと泣きそうになります。Maroon 5 の前身バンド、カーラズ・フラワーズ（Kara's Flowers）の頃の曲のようですが、すでにこの頃からこういうタイプの曲を作っていたのですね。
収録されているアルバムについてですが、この曲は『Hands All Over』（2010年）のアルバムのデジタル版（Deluxe Edition）やデジタル配信版のボーナストラックになっていたと思います。洋盤は一度ヒットすると、何種類もバージョンが時期や地域をずらして出ることも多いので、どこかのCDに入っているかもしれませんが、購入する場合は曲目をよくチェックしてください。もしかしたら、物体としてのCDにこの曲は入っていないのかもしれません。
そういった事情で、何となく知名度が他の曲ほどではないような印象ですが、すごく良い曲なので、興味があればぜひ聴いてみてください。
